Maciek is a polar fox, who was rescued from a fur farm when he was 4 months old. He had to be taken away because of an extensive paw wound, which was very infected and put his life in danger. Maciek didn’t get proper medical treatment while on the farm because it’s simply not profitable for the farmers. He was supposed to be killed just a couple of weeks later.
After a long fight, the paw had to be amputated – there was just too much damage. Fortunately, Maciek doesn’t really seem to care. He’s a very energetic, joyful and curious young fox, who loves to play and explore. He’s safe and has a new home, where he’s taken care of, he gets to play with his best friend Klara, he will never have to experience the horror of a fur farm again.
